Pakistan Railways has announced contract-based job opportunities for retired supervisory staff in the Signal & Mechanical Loco Departments. If you are a retired railway professional with relevant experience, this is an excellent opportunity to rejoin the workforce on a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension.

Sub Engineer Signal	BS-11	12

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Retired as Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11) or Signal Inspector (BS-16) from Pakistan Railways.
• Maximum age: 62 years.
• Minimum qualification: Matric or DAE in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecom (Board of Technical Education).
• Alternatively, candidates with DAE in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom and 3+ years of experience in railway signaling projects are eligible.

Mechanical Loco Department

Position	BPS	Vacancies	Required Qualification & Experience
Foreman Mechanical/Electrical	BS-14	03	DAE Mechanical with 10 years of relevant experience.
Assistant Foreman Mechanical/Electrical	BS-12	07	Relevant experience required.
Sub Engineer Mechanical/Electrical	BS-11	03	Relevant experience required.
Mistry Mechanical/Electrical	BS-09	02	Middle with 10 years of experience.
Skilled Mechanical/Electrical	BS-06	06	Relevant experience required.

Terms & Conditions for Contract Appointment

1. Only retired candidates from the specified positions are eligible.
2. The contract period is one year, extendable based on performance and organizational needs.
3. Salary will be based on the last drawn pay, along with admissible allowances.
4. No pension or gratuity benefits will be provided.
5. The Pakistan Railways reserves the right to reject any application without assigning a reason.
6. Medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital is mandatory.
7. Candidates removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible.
8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
9. The selected candidates can be posted anywhere within the Railway System.
