Job Responsibilities

The Duty Officer – Cargo Operations will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the complete cargo handling process, including acceptance, delivery, build-up, and breakdown of all cargo types.
  • Ensuring operational accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Overseeing manpower and equipment deployment according to approved operational plans.
  • Managing GSEs (Ground Support Equipment), MHEs (Material Handling Equipment), and ULD (Unit Load Device) handling and inspections.
  • Maintaining full compliance with IATA regulations, airline manuals, and Gerry’s dnata Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensuring uninterrupted warehouse operations and smooth cargo flow.

Key Expertise Required

  • Strong knowledge of cargo handling procedures and international standards.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively to meet operational demands.
  • Familiarity with safety and loading standards for cargo management.
