Job Details

The Finance Department, Government of Sindh, invites applications from interested candidates (Pakistani citizens) on a purely contractual basis for the following positions:

1. Financial Analyst (One Position)

Responsibilities:

  • Financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assisting in budget preparation for departments and their spending units while following the Medium-Term Budgetary Framework (MTBF).
  • Providing support in preparing MTBE budget proposals.
  • Coordinating with line departments’ officials and Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs) for training sessions and workshops.
  • Preparing documents for effective budgeting and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Commerce/Economics/Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in data analysis, budget trends, and financial forecasting.

2. Senior Fiscal & Financial Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the operations of MTBF and ensuring its alignment with fiscal goals and objectives.
  • Providing on-site support to DDOs and officials.
  • Designing financial strategies and medium-term budget projections.
  • Reviewing and consolidating budget proposals in collaboration with line departments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA (Finance), CA, ACCA, CMA from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, budgeting processes, and KPIs.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

3. Data Entry Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Verifying and entering financial data into computer systems.
  • Conducting diagnostic reviews to identify and correct errors.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial and performance reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with data entry protocols and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Computer Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel) and data management tools.
  • Maximum age limit: 30 years.

4. Database Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and analyzing fiscal and financial data.
  • Assisting Senior Fiscal & Financial Manager in preparing detailed financial reports.
  • Designing computer-based solutions for budget data input, analysis, and verification.
  • Coordinating with line departments for financial planning and execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in database management and analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and non-financial metrics, including KPIs.
  • Maximum age limit: 45 years.

General Information:

  • Contract Duration: Initially two years, extendable based on performance.
  • Domicile: Applicants must hold Sindh domicile/PRC (Form D).
  • Salary Package: Competitive, based on market standards.
  • Age Limit: Varies by position (ranging from 30 to 45 years).
