The Bureau of Statistics (BoS), operating under the Planning & Development Board of the Government of Punjab, has officially announced job openings for Tehsil Monitor positions in connection with the upcoming Comprehensive Door-to-Door Socio-Economic Survey of Punjab for PSER 2025. This large-scale project will be conducted across all districts of Punjab, and applications are now open for qualified candidates.
Position Overview: Tehsil Monitor (982 Vacancies)
These positions are strictly daily wage-based, with an approximate work duration of 180 working days. The role is field-based, and selected candidates will be assigned duties in various tehsils across the province.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the role of Tehsil Monitor, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2nd class MA/MSc./BS (Hons.) or equivalent (16 years of education) in any subject. Preference will be given to candidates with academic backgrounds in:
- Statistics
- Economics
- Sociology
- Social Work
- Gender Studies
- Proficiency in IT tools and equipment, especially computers and tablets.
- Previous experience in tablet-based surveys will be a strong advantage.
- Minimum age limit is 21 years.

Important Instructions for Applicants
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via SMS or email regarding interview and training schedules.
- All selected candidates must sign an agreement on a Rs. 300/- e-stamp paper on the first day of training.
- Original documents with attested copies are mandatory during interviews.
- Fieldwork selection will be performance-based after training.
- Government employees must provide a NOC from their respective departments.
- Candidates failing to participate after training will not receive any remuneration.
- Tehsil Monitors terminated in previous PSER surveys are not eligible.
- This is a purely temporary and non-permanent position, and no TA/DA will be provided for interviews.
